I love my dog. I really do. More than anything. And I think what makes him all the more special are his (not-so-little) character quirks.
But sometimes, just sometimes I wonder if he’s a little crazy (which probably helps him cope with me…). (It’s actually HIS food I’m preparing here:)
I am very thankful for being able to take Manni to work with me and when we have a little time we get to go outside and play with his prey-dummy so he gets to stay busy, too.
I decided to just keep blogging our little day-to-day adventures in the hope that others find a little joy in this as well and see how well tripawds can do. I found it is also very therapeutic for me to leave something of a legacy of Manni.
Have a good week folks!
Manni is so handsome. Those are great videos. You’re also lucky that you can take him to work with you. I used to take Mosby to work with me once a week at a prior job, and he loved it, plus it was great for morale. I have brought him to my current office before, but it’s hard because it’s a high-rise and there aren’t any “bathroom” facilities for pups within a close radius to the building, and he’s not strong enough to go a good distance for a bathroom break yet. But I hope to be able to bring him in soon. Keep posting these lovely videos of Manni.
I know, I am very lucky. But to be honest I also try and choose jobs now according to whether or not I can bring the dog. doesn’t make job hunting any easier 🙂 I did promise Manni a couple of things though so I guess we have a deal 🙂
I know what you mean with the distance to “doggy facilities”. We have been driving everywhere the past year whereas before we would walk or take the bike.
MANNI!! MANNI!!!! MAAAANNI!! You have THE xutest little “character quirks” ever!! 🙂
To see Manni running around so effortlessly and living life to the fullest is what rhis journey IS all about….thst and being spoiled and loved 24/7…and having your human cooking your meals while you sing for your supper!! 🙂
Such a fun blog roday! 🙂 Thanks for the smiles!
Hugs
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
The older he gets the more vocal he gets 🙂 I know my mother had that with her dog as well.
Manni now a) complains by huffing and puffing everytime something annoys him b) squeaks if he feels he wants something c) howls everytime something hits a certain pitch d) barks sharply if he feels I’m not fast enough with his food… spoiled, anyone? 🙂
But it also seems to be an age thing…
